CONTEXT CREATIVE

This issue of Fiber addresses the vital role that water plays in sustaining our life on earth. As a communications and marketing company, we don’t use water in industrial processes (do coffee and beer count?).

Our role is to create striking images and messages, bring together key partners who can amplify our efforts and then find intrusive ways to reach our target audiences. To that end, Context Creative chose the subject matter for this issue, and then brought together the celebrated photographers at PhotoSensitive, the litigious environmentalists at Waterkeepers and the professional communicators at the Registered Graphic Designers of Ontario.

Context Creative delivers unified campaigns that harness the strengths of the Web, email, print, direct mail and outdoor. Fiber is an example of how we work with our clients and partners – define a desired goal, get attention, cut a path through the woods and then deliver the goods. What can we do for you?

COLOUR INNOVATIONS

Colour Innovations is a prepress and commercial printing company specializing in annual reports, catalogues, high-end magazines, POP, direct mail, and non-paper substrates.

We pride ourselves on our vigorous environmental policies throughout our company. We are Ecologo ECP-58-94 Terrachoice certified by the federal government. Our commitment to improvement is exemplified by our current P2 upgrade assessment.

Moving to a complete computer-to-plate operation has eliminated all film and attendant chemicals from our prepress process. Our presses are alcohol-free and run on an environmentally friendly alcohol substitute. Any waste ink, paper and cardboard, and plates are collected and picked up by our recycling service. Through these measures and a consistent, long-term awareness of the role we must all play in preserving our environment, Colour Innovations is able to ensure our customers that virtually 100% of its prepress and printing process is environmentally friendly.
